Which Cinema 4D versions are supported?
Rendora for Cinema 4D supports current production releases: R25 and R26.
Which Blender versions are supported?
Rendora supports Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, including the latest 5.2 LTS release. Exact compatibility is confirmed with every Rendora update.
How do I install it?
Two minutes, three steps. In Blender: drag and drop the Rendora .zip straight into the software, or go to Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install. In Cinema 4D: drop the Rendora folder into your Maxon plugins folder and restart. Then paste your fal.ai and/or OpenAI API key in the settings button at the bottom right of the Rendora panel — and you're ready to generate. Do I need my own API keys?
Yes — and that's the point. Rendora connects straight to your own fal.ai and OpenAI accounts, so you pay exactly what a generation costs. Your keys, your accounts, your usage history. No middleman markup, no credit packs.
Which AI providers does Rendora support?
Rendora works with fal.ai and the OpenAI API. fal.ai gives you its full catalogue of image, video and 3D models, and OpenAI brings GPT models right into your viewport. Plug in one key or both, and switch between them from the Rendora panel.
How much does it cost to run?
You pay fal.ai and OpenAI directly at raw API price. Images cost around $0.02–$0.05 each. Video depends on the model: roughly $0.05–$0.40 per generated second — a 5-second clip typically runs $0.25–$2. Real-time viewport mode is billed per second of output, roughly $2.40 per active minute at time of writing. You're only charged for successful generations — never for errors or queue time. Provider rates can change; current prices are always listed on fal.ai and openai.com.
How does the live real-time session billing work?
Charges accrue only while a real-time session runs — not per generation. Start a session when you want to work live in the viewport, stop it as soon as you're done. Rendora clearly shows when the meter is running.
Where are my API keys stored?
Your keys are saved locally in your machine’s plugin preferences. You can instead supply them through environment variables — recommended on shared or studio workstations.
Is my scene data sent anywhere?
Prompts, viewport frames and reference images are sent to AI providers (fal.ai and OpenAI) for processing. Don’t upload confidential client scenes or personal data without authorisation. The providers’ own terms and privacy policies apply.
What does the licence cover?
Each lifetime licence is for your own active workstation setup. Contact support@gnmotion.co for studio licensing.
Do I get future updates?
Yes. Maintenance updates, compatibility fixes for new Blender and Cinema 4D releases, and improvements to existing features are included with your lifetime licence. Want every future release too, including major new versions and new feature modules? Tick the Unlimited Updates option at checkout.
Is there a refund policy?
Rendora is a digital product delivered instantly, so all sales are final. If something isn’t working, contact support@gnmotion.co within 14 days — we resolve almost every issue, and if we genuinely can’t get Rendora running as described on your supported setup, we’ll make it right.
